-Stay hydrated.
-Vote!
-Before you vote, read the wnyc voter guide (or one from your local equivalent) and figure out which of the local judges, ballot measures, etc seem like they will make life better for your community, esp the people who have less money, space, access, representation.
-Give yourself permission NOT to check the stats all day. Taking in all that info won't affect the outcome or make you feel better.
-Do something physical, like take a walk or draw or cook.
-When you find yourself worrying about who will win, try this: See if you can instead picture what the ideal outcome would look like for the people. Picture us all living kinder, happier, safer, less judgmental, more open lives.
-Do something to make the world better right now, like donating anything you can to Standing Rock.
-Spend time with your friends, family, and neighbors.
-Remember that you will get through this and you will be ok no matter what happens. ❤️
